Cloth Diapers are cheaper than you think!

Published by aukxsona under 1 Edit This

Saving money while having kids may be a contradiction in terms, but it can be done.  One way to do so is to use cloth diapers.  Using cloth diapers is good for babies bum, your wallet, and the earth.  Cloth diapers can be re-used and in between washings kept in a separate “diaper pail” full of water and vinegar, or water and Ivory soap flakes.  Diapers should be washed and hung dry daily to ensure you have enough on hand and to keep the house smelling fresh.  Using cloth diapers can be as easy as using disposable diapers.

If you want to make a stack of cloth diapers, you can.  Unlike disposable diapers a mom can whip up a stack for junior in an after noon.  I know it seems like a lot of work, but imagine never running out of diapers again.  It’s always nice to have a peaceful mind knowing your baby is cared for no matter what financial issues arise.

But how much money will cloth diapers save?  Imagine paying 6 dollars a week for diapers.  6X 52 =  312 dollars in the first year of life.  If diapers cost 10 dollars a week you save 520 dollars a year.  Either way, you are saving hundreds of dollars a year by using cloth diapers.

If you add to the fact that you are also saving hundreds of cubic feet a year by not using disposables, you might see how this is a small step in preserving the world for your baby.    Try cloth diapers today, your wallet, the eart, and your baby will thank you.
