If you or a family member need glasses, but can’t afford the typical price, you might want to ask for a prescription and head on-line.  On-line glasses can be had for under 55 dollars.  There are at least two places that will give you access to glasses on-line for less than a weeks pay.  The first is an eyeglasses card from benefit house .  You will need this to get the glasses from the second place.  The second place is 25dollargasses.net which you need the benefit house discount for.  We used this process to get my third daughter’s glasses this February, and I couldn’t have asked for a simpler  approach.  We did opt for the all the extras so it actually came to about 50 dollars total.  However, upon searching for cheaper with all the extras we came across Goggles4u where all the extras and shipping cost just 25.99.  This is where I plan to get the next pair of glasses for our family members as it appears to be much cheaper, albeit a bit more confusing for a non-glasses wearer.

Plan on waiting 4-6 weeks no matter what.  Also, at the 25dollarglasses.net they give a lovely case and cloth with the purchase.  They arrived in perfect condition, in a small padded envelope, inside a hard case with a lens cloth wrapped around.  It was done in wonderful detail.  My daughter couldn’t be more pleased and I didn’t even have to break the bank!   So the next time you groan over getting and paying for glasses realize it is much cheaper to go on-line.
