Health Care for Less Continued
If you have a lower income and no health insurance, you can find a way to go to the doctor. There are free or sliding scale clinics. Find one isn’t impossible, but you have to know where to look. I would honestly look at these as an option unless you making a quarter a million a year net. The income limitations vary according to state, and in some more affluent states, people making over 100 thousand a year can get reduced care there.

Another way to lower your health care costs are to simply take better care of yourself. Oh I know, no one wants to hear, this but it remains important to remember. Yu are the only one that is responsible for you. I have so many options for health care on this blog, from discount medical, to free prescription cards, and low cost clinics. There is one major thing that remains very important and extremely frugal when dealing with health. That is maintenence.
Some quick tips to stay healthy:
1. Wash your hands often, several times a day if needed.
2. Exercise a little more each day. Although 20 minutes is better than no exercise, it really isn’t enough to stay in perfect health.
3. Eat healthy, and gardening will help you with this point and point 2.
4. Take time to heal after an injury. Trying to rush out and be super man after a bad injury is like begging for that injury to reoccur.
5. Get regular check ups once a year. Once a year paying 100 dollars for some blood work and 15 minutes with a doctor isn’t too much to ask to stay healthy is it?
